Where on earth did 2016 go? It is nearly time to start school again already!
I swear it still only feels like November, yet here we are in mid way through January already. Right now, while I am writing this, I am off sailing the South Pacific Islands enjoying a well earned holiday. But not before I have put a few things in place. At least then, the back to school transition will run smoothly when we return.
This post is the first of a three part series that I was asked to participate in. I would like to thank Hailey from Organise It All for asking me to take part in her back to school series. And for sharing her first step earlier this week. I really hope that these posts add some value to you.
Late last year I received a message from Hailey at Organise It All, asking if I would like to participate in a Back to School 3 Part Series, to share how we take care of everything school related. Well, I am very excited to share the first instalment of this series from Hailey, as she details all the ins and outs of her organisation systems.
Hailey is a wife and mother to two beautiful children and she has a passion for organising, just like me. She recently started her own business and specialises in home organisation for real people and has been blogging about this for around a year.

Happy new year and welcome to 2017! A new year always seems to signify changes. Changes we want to make. Changes to what is happening in our lives. Different milestones. New goals. New Years Resolutions.
I must admit, I have never been good at making New Years Resolutions. Actually, let me rephrase that. I have always been great at making them, just never that good at keeping them.
We all have the same number of hours in our day. But how is it that some people just seem to accomplish so much more with their time than others? How are they increasing their productivity and becoming more organised?
Do they have less to contend with? Not as many responsibilities? No kids to worry about?
Personally, I think it all comes down to how we use each and every one of those hours available to us. Here are 7 things that I do that have made a huge difference in my productivity and have led to a far more organised home.
Are you really tidy and clean? Are you clean but not tidy, or tidy but not clean? Is there really a difference? Well, I am here to tell you that there definitely is. And while I love my house to be tidy, uncluttered and look as nice as it can, I would much rather it be clean. Let me tell you why.
