Are you looking for some Organisation Inspiration? Maybe you are unsure of where to start? If the answer is yes, then I have some pretty exciting news to share!
If you are trying to organise your life in any way, a really great starting point probably is a Family Command Centre.
First of all what exactly is a command centre? Well, it is designated space that contains the items necessary to keep your family organised throughout the year while still being functional and of course pretty.
An effective command centre contains a variation of many items. A calendar, a notice board, an inbox, a memo board, stationery, menu plan, family schedule and maybe even some inspirational printouts. Whatever suits your needs is what you need to include, but whatever you choose to include, here is some eye candy to get you started.
Things have been pretty quiet around here lately. Not because there is not much going on, but because there is so much going on.
As a bookkeeper, year end is an extremely busy time. I work a part time bookkeeping job, as well as looking after the accounts for one other company every quarter. Just to get them ready for his accountant.
But as well as the end of financial year chaos that is happening right now, I have also been very busy behind the scenes completing the online certification to become an Evernote Community Leader.
And let me tell you, I am so excited.

I have been using Evernote for a few years now. Four years to be exact. Mostly, I used it for keeping track of my Master To Do List. Occasionally I would see something on a website and store it there to read later. A list of books to read, recipes to try, TV shows to watch, podcasts to listen to, products to look at. You get the idea.
And whilst I have always loved the idea of having a portable organisation system with me, I really wasn’t putting it to good use.
But back in January, I posted about my Life Goals Vs New Years Resolutions and in this post I talked about how I wasn’t going to make resolutions, I was going to concentrate on some goals that I have set for myself.
One of these goals was to move towards digitising my life. I mean really digitising. My vision is to have next to no paperwork in the house. To be able to access everything on the fly. To be able to pull up the information that I need at the drop of a hat. And let me tell you, I am already on my way.
But today I really wanted to share with you my top 10 reasons why I am organising my life with Evernote and why I am in love with this program.
Well here it is. My last instalment of the Back To School Series. And it is all about how I organise school work.
This little system of ours has been working famously for about 3 years now, and I would love to show you what we have done.
It has been so much fun sharing how both Hailey and I organise everything school related, but all good things must come to an end, so enjoy this last instalment on for our Back to School Series.
Welcome back to Part Two of the Back To School Series, which is a collaboration between myself and Hailey at Organise It All. If you missed the first two instalments, jump on back to the blog and check them out. You can find Hailey’s here and mine here.
Today Hailey is going to share with us how she organises her school clutter.
Where on earth did 2016 go? It is nearly time to start school again already!
I swear it still only feels like November, yet here we are in mid way through January already. Right now, while I am writing this, I am off sailing the South Pacific Islands enjoying a well earned holiday. But not before I have put a few things in place. At least then, the back to school transition will run smoothly when we return.
This post is the first of a three part series that I was asked to participate in. I would like to thank Hailey from Organise It All for asking me to take part in her back to school series. And for sharing her first step earlier this week. I really hope that these posts add some value to you.
Late last year I received a message from Hailey at Organise It All, asking if I would like to participate in a Back to School 3 Part Series, to share how we take care of everything school related. Well, I am very excited to share the first instalment of this series from Hailey, as she details all the ins and outs of her organisation systems.
Hailey is a wife and mother to two beautiful children and she has a passion for organising, just like me. She recently started her own business and specialises in home organisation for real people and has been blogging about this for around a year.
So let me hand you over now to Hailey and her first instalment of the back to school series.
